PROJECTS
TINUI FLOOD-DAMAGED BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
After Cyclone Gabrielle severely damaged the original crossing, Rycroft Construction rebuilt the bridge from the ground up — raising it by one metre, installing new abutments and bored piles, and constructing a 25 m span structure rated for 55 tonnes.
EKETĀHUNA BRIDGE RENEWAL PROJECT
A complete bridge renewal north of Eketāhuna involving abutment repairs, twin 910 mm UB girders, and a new 200 mm concrete deck — designed to withstand regular flooding and heavy rural use.
WAIROA TIMBER POLE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
A new 8 m timber pole bridge designed for 10-tonne loads, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering to provide durable, low-impact access across the farm.
RUAPEHU REMOTE BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
A 12 m, 30-tonne bridge built beneath Mt Ruapehu — a remote, challenging site delivered with strength, precision, and reliability.
ELSTHORPE BRIDGE STRENGTHENING
A new steel pile bent system installed to reinforce and extend the life of the existing bridge — delivering a durable 55-tonne-rated structure built to last.
CENTRAL HAWKE’S BAY BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
A small but essential bridge strengthened with new steel casings and UC piles after scour damage — restoring stability and safe access for farm operations.
WINGPOINT CONCRETE CULVERT-TO-BRIDGE CONVERSION
An innovative 9 m reinforced concrete slab bridge constructed over a failing culvert, designed to seamlessly take over once the original structure collapsed.
